Speaking of The Words of the Week... they are traveling the world! Follow along on Muhlenberg Elementary Center's Facebook Page. Click here to go there. This is our second post to contribute to the WOW travel log.
Stanley and I visited NYC with Neighbor Girl and her friend. Our first stop was the VERDANT Bryant Park where we had a FORTUITOUS sighting of author Artie Bennett on our way into the NYC Public Library.
We enjoyed the library's DIDACTIC exhibition: "The ABC of It: Why Children's Books Matter." The exhibit was EXQUISITE, and among other things, it paid HOMAGE to some of the greatest children's books.
Neighbor Girl and her friend chose to take us to "The Phantom of the Opera." It was PHENOMENAL. I especially enjoyed the MASQUERADE scene.
Of course, we did some shopping but we also journeyed to the PINNACLE of Rockefeller Center: The Top of The Rock!
Thank you for reading and sharing,
