The goal of The Chocolate Challenge is to pair books with chocolates. Yippee, what a great combination! I decided to pair chocolates with a book series - four of my favorites that I didn't see tagged in Erik's post (we like many of the same books).
My Chocolate/Book Pairings
A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket with
Dark Chocolate with Almonds
I think this is a good match because the book is very dark and mysterious (dark chocolate), and has lots of surprises (almonds).
The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart
with
M&Ms
I matched these because there is TONS of adventure (chocolate) but has a bunch of fun in it too (candy coating).

Nanny Piggins by R. A. Spratt
with
Chocolate Covered Peeps
I think this is a good match because the book is very funny, and has awesome illustrations (bird shaped marshmallow). Also, the main character has a LOVE for chocolate (chocolate).
The Incorrigible Children
of Ashton Place by MaryRose Wood
with
Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
I matched these because the book is playful (peanut butter) but is also kind of serious (chocolate).
Who is next on the Chocolate Challenge? I am able to tag two awesome bloggers who are some of my top supporters:
Rebecca Flansburg of Frantic Mommy, Queen of the Kingdom of Tired
&
Valarie Budayr of Jump Into a Book, Making Kids Books Come Alive
Look for their posts in the near future and follow them on Twitter or Facebook for all of their fantastic updates.
Oh, and my tech support (Mom) will be adding this to the 42nd Kid Lit Blog Hop.
